Biography:
John E. Rapp is a native Wichitan. He graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School (1996) and Newman University (2000). His father, David Rapp, is an extremely well-respected litigator who also practices in Wichita. John received his Juris Doctorate from The University of Kansas School of Law in December, 2002 and was admitted to practice in Kansas in April 2003. He came to Hulnick Law Offices, P.A. in May, 2002, as a legal intern, the summer before he graduated. His passion for defending those accused of criminal conduct is obvious as he represents persons in court.
Mr. Rapp has been recognized in Super Lawyers Magazine as a Missouri & Kansas Super Lawer in its rising stars section. He also was recognized as a Wichita Business Journal 40 Under 40 recipient. That award recognizes 40 of the most influential people in the Wichita community that are under the age of 40.
Mr. Rapp's practice includes civil and criminal litigation. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Wichita Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. John enjoys all sports and when he isn’t playing one he is watching one. Mr. Rapp is also a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel representing indigent persons accused of criminal conduct in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. He is licensed to practice in municipal, state and federal courts in Kansas.
